S3 Bucket Explorer is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information:
- AWS credentials you enter (stored only in your browser's sessionStorage)
- Basic usage analytics to improve the service
How We Use Your Information
Your AWS credentials are used solely to connect to your S3 bucket directly from your browser. We never transmit your credentials to our servers. All S3 operations happen directly between your browser and AWS.
Data Storage
All data, including your AWS credentials, is stored locally in your browser's sessionStorage. This means your credentials are automatically cleared when you close your browser tab or window. We do not store any of your data on our servers.
Third-Party Services
This application connects directly to Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 using the credentials you provide. Please refer to AWS's privacy policy for information about how they handle your data.
Cookies
We use sessionStorage to store your preferences and credentials temporarily. We do not use tracking cookies.
Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- Clear your credentials at any time using the remove configuration button
- Close your browser tab to automatically clear all stored data
- Use your browser's developer tools to inspect what data is stored
